IN support of Coun Ron Sands, re Bitter pill at surgery (Viewpoint) I think it is a disgrace that the West End Medical Practice should be allowed to virtually close down the existing pharmacy next door, that has adequately furnished the needs of patients for years.
The pharmacy on Yorkshire Street is one of the quality shops that attracts customers and allows the other shops in the area to benefit from its popularity. If this is allowed to close it could have a downward spiralling effect on the area.
