Mrs. M Johnson,

Blackpool, Lancs 27/03/2008 20:49:18
What a shame it doesn't have the year-my mum may have recognised this photo.
She was going to write to the letters page herself to say...........
Does anyone remember the young lady who used to fill your car, check your oil water, battery & tyres at the Cumberland View Garage, Heysham Road, Morecambe in the mid 50s & frequented the Midland Hotel in the evenings with my Dad & friends?
Now a retired widow she would love to be at the re-opening of the Midland Hotel & hopes it will, be kept in the 'art deco' style?
She would love to walk in with a nice gentleman that also frequented the place to relive all those memories of those great times gone by!
